This is a ROM which came installed in a re-badged T102 as part of the MC-1 Measuring Calculator system made by Paladin Measuring Systems.  The key part of the system is the MC-1 hardware which is an ultrasonic measuring device for working with blueprints or other drawings.  It includes a stylus which emits a sonic pulse (using a high-voltage spark emitted at the stylus tip!) and a digitizer box which sits on the table at the top of the blueprint drawing and receives the pulse using two microphones, allowing it to calculate the 2D position of the stylus.  This box connects to the T102 by RS-232 and the software in this ROM translates the measurement data according to whatever scale the user has set, calculates linear and square area measurements, performs cost calculations, and more.

This ROM is therefore absolutely essential for anybody who has an MC-1, and probably only a curiosity for anyone who does not.  :)  If you want to try it out, you can hit ESC from the main screen to get to the Calculator screen and try some of the functions which don't require the digitizer box.  Most functions require input from the digitizer.  You must warm-boot (Reset button) to exit.
